These days it seems like distractions are everywhere – texts, tweets, Facebook posts, alerts – you name it! But while we may think that distractions are a recent phenomenon, rest assured they are not!
I am sure that most, if not all of us, were told when we were younger that it is rude to interrupt! And while I could not agree more, there are times when it is not only appropriate but necessary to interrupt.

I must admit when I saw the title of the book that inspired this blog post in my Scribd feed, I was a little skeptical. The title of the book is called The Luck Factor and I thought to myself “Geez Louise, just what I need to read, a hokey book about how to get lucky.”
