I’ve been wanting to write a blog post on happiness and how to be happier for a while now. During my research, I came across a study out of Harvard on how to be happier that has been going on for over 80 years!
We have all heard the idiom, “take a cold shower” and most of us associate it with getting rid of physical and sexual arousal. In fact, the Cambridge dictionary contains the phrase and defines it as “an expression used when someone needs to calm down when something has made them feel sexually excited”.
This week’s video is my opinion about the importance of taking time every day to zone out. I will discuss some of the benefits and some of the potential pitfalls of zoning out, and finally a few ways for “how to zone out”.
I have always been a bit of a gym rat who loves lifting weights and staying in shape. I’m not sure how I got so obsessed with working out. Perhaps I am fulfilling the primitive DNA coding of a caveman that lies deep within all of us to be strong to survive.
I must admit that when my good friend Gabe introduced me to the negotiating technique we will explore today, I was a bit skeptical. My skepticism was due to the fact that it was counterintuitive to what I had been taught.
